PROJECT
This project addresses the need for
automated analysis, presentation and visualization of the
architectures of large, complex, and mixed programming language
software systems. An open approach allows us to provide a vendor
independent solution that harnesses the power of the Architecture
Analysis and Design Language (AADL). The approach uses model driven
development techniques to specify visualization viewpoints that are
customized the specific needs of the system stakeholders. Viewpoint
data is extracted from the AADL system architecture model using
standard XML based processing techniques. AADL model establishment
is supplied by automated extraction of architectural information
from existing code and design models along with manual annotations.
